Michael's on the Hill is located within a Circa 1820 farmhouse, surrounded by acres of rolling lawns, forest, and perennial gardens. Spectacular views of the Green Mountains and sunsets make Michael's a popular stop for photographers and tourists alike.
The restaurant seats nearly 100 guests and has a full bar, lounge and outside porch available for dining.
Enjoy the ultimate Vermont Farm to Table dining experience while we provide you with the highest level of quality and service in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
The beginning of every meal is enhanced with a warm, linen-wrapped artisan baguette, sweet butter, and marinated olives served in a dish created by a local potter. We invite you to select from our Wine Spectator Award winning wine list or enjoy our seasonally inspired cocktails.
We offer three distinctive dining rooms that offer intimate or festive dining environments. The large enclosed wrap-around Porch is an elegant dining area, commanding views of the Green Mountains from each table. The centrally located Clock Room envelops diners in Vermont comfort, and a beautifully renovated original 1820 Barn provides a unique setting where guests may dine in luxury while being reminded of the history and charm of the antique barn.
European and Vermont nuances decorate the restaurant, from the Swiss woodblock prints that tell the "Story of the Bread", to the local pottery and hand painted chairs that adorn each table.
Our guests' memorable experiences are essential to us and we do our best to accommodate special requests.
